Design
The HTC Droid Eris measures 4.45 inches tall by 2.19 inches wide by 0.51 inch thick and weighs 4.23 ounces. It has a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touch screen. With a 320x480 pixel resolution, the display is sharp and vibrant. Below the display you get four navigation buttons: Home, Menu, Back, and Zoom, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack on top, a volume rocker on the left side, and a Mini-USB port/power connector on the bottom.

Multimedia
The smartphone has a 5-megapixel lens. It also offers video-recording capabilities and geotagging through the HTC Footprints app. The music player supports MP3, AAC, AMR-NB, WAV, MIDI, and Windows Media Audio 9 format and includes shuffle, repeat, and playlists.

Call Features/Quality
The smartphone's call quality is excellent, with clear audio and a strong signal that penetrated far into buildings.

Memory/Storage
The Droid Eris has 512 MB ROM and 288 MB RAM internal memory, 8GB SD Card.

Battery
The HTC Droid has a 1,300 Li-Ion battery which is rated for 3.5 hours of talk time and up to 375 hours of standby time.
