The good:
The HTC HD2's design is stylish and it has a huge touchscreen with friendly interface. The smartphone is also equipped with a 1GHz processor and 5-megapixel camera. In addition, it features the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 OS edition.
The bad:
There is no U.S. 3G support on the HTC HD2. It is huge and the speakerphone quality is not the best.
The bottom line:
The HTC HD2 will attract a legion of young fans with its fresh design and excellent multimedia capabilities. We like the large touchscreen, and the software update brings some much-needed additions to the features department.
Design - The HTC HD2's design is pretty impressive. It comes with huge touchscreen and friendly interface. At 4.74 inches tall by 2.64 inches wide by 0.4 inch deep and weighing 5.5 ounces, it is portable and has a sturdy, comfortable feel. The display measures 4.3 inches (800x480 pixels), so it shows just about everything well, from graphics to photos to text.
Features and performance - The HTC HD2 include a speakerphone, speed dial, smart dialing, voice commands, conference calling, and text and multimedia messaging. It is also equipped with media player, a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, dual LED flash, video-recording capabilities, and the standard editing options.
Battery - The HTC HD2 ships with a 1230mAh lithium-ion battery with a rated talk time of 6 hours and up to 20 days of standby time.
