It doesn't have all the features we'd like, but the Nexus One greatly enhances the Google Android... The good:
The HTC Nexus has a sleek, attractive design with a huge display, tactile controls, and an easy-to-use interface. Features include stereo Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, a 5 megapixels camera, a 3.5 mm headset jack, a speakerphone, integrated digital compass and so on. Call quality is excellent and the battery life is long.
The bad:
It is missing some wanted features like hands-free Bluetooth dialing and the media player could be better.
The bottom line:
Armed with a 5-megapixel camera, full Bluetooth capabilities, 3g support, GPS, large touch screen and easy-to-use interface, the HTC Nexus will have phone fanatics and on-the-go shutterbugs green-eyed with envy. It also has good call quality and long battery life. All that make it a better value in our book though it has some minor errors.
Design - The HTC Nexus comes with a candy bar, touch-screen-only design. We wouldn't be exaggerating if we were to say the HTC Nexus is one of the most eye-catching handsets we've seen all year. 4.56 inches by 2.36 inches by 0.47 inch and 4.58 ounces. It is not surprising that the Nexus One's star attraction is its 3.7-inch AMOLED display. Bursting with 16.7 million colors and an 800x480-pixel resolution, the display really is a wonder.
Features and performance - With a 5-megapixel resolution the K850 is as powerful as many standalone cameras. We like the enhanced camera interface that came with Android 1.6, especially the quick switch to the camcorder. Photo quality is satisfying. Colors looked natural and there is little image noise. Call quality is quite good on the whole. Conversations are clear, the volume is loud.
Battery - The HTC Nexus boasts a very respectable battery life, it comes with a 1,400mAh lithium ion battery with a rated talk time of 600 minutes and up to 290 hours of standby time.
