Foreign technology blog Engadget reported, Nokia executive vice president Anssi Vanjoki made an impassioned conference speech. In the speech, he expressed his point of view on Nokia's present status and future development.

Anssi Vanjoki said Nokia will focus on two things in the future. One is to win position in high-end device, the other is to inject new vitality to the product. He also confirmed that Nokia N8 was the last phone based on Symbian OS3 mobile phone, and Symbian OS4 was very likely to appear. In addition, Anssi Vanjoki said products will focus on devices that fit into your pocket, but he did not specifically describe what size of the pocket.
Latest statistics show that Apple iPhone, Blackberry, Google Android and Palm rank at the top in the field of global smartphones. Though boasting large quantity of sales, Nokia was limited to low-end market.

SymbianOS is the most common operating system used in Nokia cell phones. Nokia has also launched Meego operating system joint together with Intel recently. Meego system can be used to net books and high-end smartphones. However, adopt Meego OS, Nokia deny Android OS phone.
