Ultrasn0w Unlock for Apple iPhone 3GS, 3G on iOS 4.1 and iOS 4.2 to Release

November is getting closer and closer and that's the month when Apple is expected to release iOS 4.2. That also means ultrasn0w iPhone unlock will come. The famous iPhone hacker MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev Team confirmed Apple iPhone 3GS /3G with 05.14.02 baseband and running iOS 4.1 or iOS 4.2 unlock tool - ultrasn0w will be released after iOS 4.2 is public.

The following are a recent series of tweets, simplysaru asked "@MuscleNerd thanks. how long would the wait be for 4.2 any approximate time", MuscleNerd replied "@simplysaru if you're on 3G or 3GS, just a day or 2 at most after 4.2 is public (just enough time to verify stuff)."

We are not surprised to hear iPhone 3GS/3G unlock tool is coming, but we are still waiting for Apple iPhone 4 unlock. As we know, since the baseband OS on iPhone 4 is different than its predecessors, it will probably take a little more time for the iPhone hacker to achieve unlock for iPhone 4 with 2.10.04 baseband and running iOS 4.1 or iOS 4.2.
