Apple iPad 2G with 5MP Rear and FaceTime Camera Up Front to Launch in 2011

The rumor of Apple won't stop. As the next generation iPhone Apple iPhone 5 exposure, a suite of Apple next generation Apple iPad titles are prevailing. The Research Firm Detweiler Fenton reported the Apple iPad 2G would get 2 cameras, 5-megapixel camera at the back and a front facing VGA camera. Apple iPad 2G is expected to come in the first quarter of 2011.

The media also reported OmniVision will be supplying sensors for both these cameras, which already makes sensors for the existing Apple iPhone and iPod touch 4G. Additionally, according to Barron's, Apple will sell over 2.5 million iPads for the early quarter in 2011.

I don't fancy a back facing 5-megapixel camera with an iPad. But the front facing camera, the perfect device for FaceTime calls like Apple iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G would be a highlight. Is everyone excited about it? Stay tuned! We will let you know as soon as the Apple product is available.
