The Nokia 5130 XpressMusic has a simple candy bar design. It features a glossier skin with a dotted pattern over the phone's speaker on the rear side. It weighs 0.2 pounds and measures 4.2 inches tall by 1.8 inches wide by 0.6 inches deep. It fits easily into a pocket, yet still feels solidly built. Its 2-inch display supports 256,000 colors, and the resolution is decent (320x240 pixel).

The cell phone has 2-megapixel camera which can take photos and record video.
