The Samsung Highlight SGH-T749 has a low call volume, its speakerphone quality is not so good too.
The bottom line:
Even if the Samsung Highlight Web's browser isn't perfect, T-Mobile's 3G network delivers fast data speeds. It may not offer as much memory as the other mobile phones, but it offers just as many features and a sleeker design, making it a better value in our book. Finally, the music quality was fine.
Design - The Samsung Highlight SGH-T749 features a nice and stylish design. At 4.27 inches tall by 2.11 inches wide by 0.54 inch thick, it is a bit chunkier but it also has a comfortable feel in the hand, and it fits easily in a pocket or bag. It comes in two bright colors: fire (red and orange) and ice (almost a turquoise). The display measures 3 inches and shows 16 million colors (400x240 pixels).
Features and performance - The Samsung Highlight SGH-T749 has a generous 2,000-contact phone book, a 3-megapixel camera and a music player. The advanced options, you'll find speaker-independent voice dialing and commands, USB mass storage, PC syncing, a file manager, an RSS reader, Web-based POP3 e-mail, instant messaging, a voice memo recorder, GPS support with Telenav Navigator, and full Bluetooth with a stereo profile.
Battery - The Samsung Highlight SGH-T749 comes with a 1,200mAh lithium ion battery with a rated talk time of 6.5 hours and up to 18.5 days of standby time. And its tested talk time is 4 hours and 58 minutes.
