Unlock and Root Motorola Xoom Android 3.0 Honeycomb

A great new from the famous Android developer Koushik, Motorola XOOM has been rooted and unlocked successfully. Koushik has successed to root his Motorola XOOM Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet and run Clockwork Recovery on Xoom.

The method to root and unlock Motorola XOOM

1. Download the XOOM root zip from http://mirror1.kanged.net/motorola/stingray/xoomroot.zip

2. Unzip this package, and put it in the box. adb reboot bootloader

3. fastboot oem unlock, then wait to reboot and run adb reboot bootloader

4. Fastboot flash boot rootboot.img, Wait for reboot and run with the following commands

adb remount

adb push su /system/bin

adb shell ln cs /system/bin/su /system/xbin/su

adb shell chmod 4755 /system/bin/su

adb push Superuser.apk /system/app

Then thanks to Koushik and enjoy your newly rooted Motorola Xoom Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet.
